Lazio and Napoli have both named heavily rotated line-ups for Thursday evening’s Coppa Italia fixture at the Stadio Olimpico, which comes just a few days before the two teams have to face each other again in Serie A.
It kicks off at 19.45 GMT.
Thursday night’s game is the first in a double header between Lazio and Napoli. By sheer coincidence, the two teams will meet again at the Stadio Maradona in Serie A on Sunday.
Marco Baroni has named a heavily rotated side, without the likes of Nuno Tavares, Matteo Guendouzi, Taty Castellanos or Boulaye Dia. There is still room for several senior figures including Mattia Zaccagni, Pedro and Nicolo Rovella, though.
Antonio Conte has also rested a number of key first-team players, including the likes of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Romelu Lukaku, Scott McTominay and Alessandro Buongiorno, but there is an opportunity for David Neres and also for Billy Gilmour in midfield. The Scotland international is joined by Michael Folorunsho in the centre of the park.
Lazio (4-2-3-1): Mandas; Lazzarri, Gigot, Patric, Hysaj; Rovella, Dele-Bashiru; Noslin, Pedro, Zaccagni, Tchaouna.
Napoli (4-3-3): Caprile; Zerbin, Marin, Jesus, Spinazzola; Folorunsho, Gilmour; Ngonge, Raspadori, Neres; Simeone.
