Como chief speaks out on Álvaro Morata chase | OneFootball

Como president Mirwan Suwarso has this weekend opened up on the club’s ongoing pursuit of Spanish international Álvaro Morata.

The name of frontman Morata has emerged as an altogether prominent one in the headlines across Italy over recent weeks.

This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that the experienced frontman has made his way to the very top of the summer transfer wishlist at the aforementioned Como.

Talks, in turn, have long been kicked into gear between the brass at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia, and their counterparts at AC Milan, Morata’s parent club.

Speaking during an exchange with the media on Sunday, the subject of the 32-year-old’s potential arrival was therefore put to the aforementioned Mirwan Suwarso.

And in his response, Como’s president went on to confirm that his side are now simply waiting for Milan and Galatasaray – where Morata is currently on loan – to finalise the termination of their agreement:

“Álvaro Morata deal is ready. He has agreed on terms and we’ve agreed on every detail with AC Milan. We just wait on Galatasaray to speak to AC Milan. We did our job.”
