Christian Pulisic has picked up where he left off after a fantastic debut season at AC Milan, and another report has claimed that Liverpool are keeping an eye on him.

As Calciomercato.com recall, Milan won 3-0 against Lecce on Friday night and Pulisic got himself on the scoresheet again. After Alvaro Morata had opened the scoring with a precise header and then a Leao-Theo combination had doubled the lead, Milan scored a third in less than 5 minutes through the American.

Morata’s central run was followed by a feed to Abraham who hit the post, then the rebound eventually came back to him and the Englishman saw a shot saved by Falcone, but it landed at the feet of Pulisic who couldn’t miss from just a few yards out.

The former Chelsea man seems to be in the right place, at the right time, on every single occasion. He searches for the ball and is always on hand to bury chances. Since the start of last season (from 2023-24), no Serie A player has taken part in more goals than Pulisic across all competitions: 33 (20 goals and 13 assists), equal to Lautaro Martínez (29G + 4A).

It is understandable, therefore, that clubs are starting to take note and he has ended up in Liverpool’s sights to replace Mohamed Salah, in the event of the Egyptian’s farewell at the end of the season (his contract expires at the end of the season, on June 30, 2025).

The American began his season at Milan by scoring four goals and providing two assists in the first six Serie A games while he actually netted against Liverpool in the Champions League meeting at San Siro.

He has a contract with the Rossoneri until 2027, with an option to renew for another year. He is ‘very happy at Milan, feels like a leader and has no intention of leaving’, meaning it will ‘take a crazy move’ to make the directors even come to the negotiating table.
