Stuttgart asked for information about two AC Milan defenders and other players during the meeting that took place this morning at Casa Milan, a report claims.

This morning, there was a meeting at the club headquarters between technical director Geoffrey Moncada and the Stuttgart management, led by Thomas Henning, who is Head of Recruitment for the German club.

There were quickly reports suggesting that Milan are after Serhou Guirassy, a prolific striker who scored 30 goals in 30 Bundesliga games and has a release clause of €17.5m, but it is unlikely that they made the trip just to talk about a player with a known valuation.

According to the latest from Daniele Longo of Calciomercato.com, Stuttgart asked for information from Milan about the two young defenders Pierre Kalulu and Jan-Carlo Simic. They are preparing for the Champions League next season, and clearly want to bolster the rearguard.

Simic has become a leader of the Primavera after he actually signed from Stuttgart a couple of years ago but he is yet to pen a long-term deal, leading to suggestions that clubs from abroad – Feyenoord above all – are keen on acquiring him.

Kalulu meanwhile has had an injury-plagued season and although he is back to full fitness now there have been rumours claiming he could be sold for the right offer. Given he came from Lyon for €500k, his exit would generate a pure capital gain.
