Club World Cup preparations - FC Bayern have arrived in the USA

FC Bayern landed in Orlando at 5:38pm local (11:38pm CEST) on Tuesday. The German record champions have set up their base camp for the Club World Cup in the centre of the US state of Florida. Head coach Vincent Kompany's side will initially prepare there for their opening match against Auckland City in Cincinnati at 12 noon local (6pm CEST) on Sunday.

The first part of the squad for the Club World Cup, including captain Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller flew in on Tuesday. The internationals who were still on duty with their national teams will join up with the squad over the next few days.

"We're really looking forward to the tournament, we have a good team and are capable of beating any opposition," said Neuer on arrival in Orlando. "It's not easy to predict who will come out on top – everyone wants to win. We intend to perform at our best and thrill the fans here in the USA," said coach Kompany at the airport.
The first training session on US soil will take place on Wednesday at 10am local time (4pm CEST). We’ll be broadcasting the session in Orlando via a free live stream.
All FIFA Club World Cup matches are being broadcast live and for free by streaming service DAZN, although broadcasters will differ in some countries.
