If a Liverpool star performs well on international duty over the coming weeks then it will shoot up the price an interested club will need to pay for him.
Liverpool have already brought in Jeremie Frimpong to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold and will also sign Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen in a club record deal.
A Reds star could end up making the opposite trip though as Leverkusen are interested in defender Jarell Quansah.
The German side consider him to be a prime candidate to replace Jonathan Tah in central defence.
According to German magazine Kicker, Liverpool are looking for €45m in order to part with the 22-year-old, while Leverkusen see a more realistic value as being over €30m.
However, it is suggested that how Quansah does while on England Under-21s duty will have an impact.
He is currently in action for England Under-21s at the European Under-21s Championship in Slovakia and if he performs well then it will push up the price.
Leverkusen would be left with a more difficult task when it comes to taking Quansah to the BayArena.
It had been speculated that Quansah could have been included in the package for Liverpool to sign Wirtz.
Liverpool though reached an agreement to sign Wirtz without any players being included in the deal.
Quansah is behind Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate in the defensive pecking order at Liverpool, while the Reds have also been tipped to sign another centre-back this summer.
Konate has yet to put pen to paper to a new contract at Anfield and there are doubts over his future at the club.
