📈 Chris Wood keeps pace with PL elite after early Nottingham Forest strike

Chris Wood enjoyed a fantastic 2024/25 campaign and the New Zealander wasted no time in getting off the mark in the new Premier League season.

The Forest attacker struck 20 league goals last season and he took just six minutes to open his account against Brentford at the City Ground on Sunday, volleying high into the net from inside the penalty area.

Wood has been a key player since Nuno Espirito Santo was appointed Forest boss in December 2023 and he has repaid his manager by keeping pace with the PL's best strikers.
