The Englishman was joined by host Eilidh Barbour, pundit James McFadden and his old teammate from his Parkhead days in Jackie McNamara, on what was title clinching day in Dundee for Brendan Rodgers and his team.
The Bhoys ran out comfortable winners in the end up, putting the Arabs to the sword with some well-worked goals and fabulous team play at times. It was a refreshing experience following our failure to capitalise in the previous few weeks, when we could have secured the Scottish Premiership at Celtic Park, had it not been for a poor showing in Perthshire against Simo Valakari’s St Johnstone.

With that behind us and the squad looking fully focused and back on track again, we dismantled Jim Goodwin’s men this afternoon in what was a rather dreich April day in the City of Discovery. Although the loyal supporters of this football club – who had been extorted shamelessly by the home side in the lead up to this fixture, with scandalous ticket pricing to watch their team seal the title – would have been in high spirits with the football Rodgers’ side put on show today.

Before Four-in-a-row was signed, sealed and delivered at the home of the Tangerines, Sutton was covering the build-up to the match, alongside the aforementioned three and couldn’t help himself with a cheeky quip regarding whether Celtic won the league today or at the home of our fierce rivals next weekend on 4 May. The Sky Sports co-commentator and pundit said: “In some ways, it would be nicer if they won it at Ibrox next week,” with a wry smile on his face, no doubt looking to set off all the right people…
