If there is something that distinguishes the Cantera Rojiblanca, it is that its youth teams always work to be protagonists in their respective categories, through good ball handling and advanced training processes. In recent semesters, Chivas U19 has shown considerable progress in its game plan, but it has also been very consistent and this Clausura 2025 has had an enviable start by being the only team that has remained unbeaten in the semester.

Led from the bench by coach Sergio Pinto, Los Tapatíos have won all of their CL25 matches with a record of four wins and three draws. In addition, they have not allowed a goal at home so far in the championship.

This inertia is no coincidence, since it should be remembered that this category won the CL24 (still as U18) and that they have won two tournaments with at least 30 points. To put it in perspective, this semester, even without crossing the halfway point of the championship, they have already accumulated 17 points with only 7 games played.

On offense, the team from Jalisco scored in 6 of their 7 matches, with a player who has contributed more than anyone else to the scoring quota: Santiago Sandoval, who is the runner-up in the individual scoring charts with 4 goals. If we talk about the extra points they have disputed in penalty shootouts, the team from Guadalajara took 2 out of the 3 they took.

To add even more to Chivas U19's great start to the tournament, they are the best defense in the competition with only 3 goals allowed, which they conceded against Necaxa and León, in addition to having kept a clean sheet on 5 occasions.
