Serie A side Genoa could well be without owners soon and the club is likely going to be up for sale soon, with 777 Partners now collapsing.

While Josimar in Norway have confirmed that 777 Partners will soon lose control of Genoa and their other clubs, there is now further reported in Italy from the Rossolu’s perspective.

Secolo XIX, as relayed by Calcio e Finanza, have reported that Genoa are indeed in trouble. Kenneth King was also part of the management committee of 777 and he is owner of A-CAP, who are struggling to stay up themselves. Back in May, A-CAP had taken a loan of €40 million to finance the footballing operations they had seized from 777.

That loan was provided by GD Luma, a company owned by Chelsea owner Todd Boehly and this loan was provided at an interest rate of a huge 46 percent. Despite Boehly’s connections with the entire situation, the loan was seen only as a short-term deal by the American and he has no interest in acquiring Genoa or 777 Partners.
