Chelsea’s race for the Champions League concludes this coming Sunday, and Opta have forecast the final league games.
This news comes after Chelsea got a vital three points on Friday night against Manchester United in what was a crucial win for the race for Champions League football next season.
One Chelsea legend Gary Cahill was at the match and he has hailed one key player in the game as being one of the best in Europe after his influence on the match.
Cahill wasn’t the only one praising this player as well, with team mate Pedro Neto joining in and picking up on the character of the Chelsea hero from Friday night.
Chelsea will now move on to their final league game of the season next weekend away at Nottingham Forest, and it’s another game they have to win the secure Champions League qualification.
Manchester City won last night but they are still involved in the Champions League race on the final day along with Chelsea, Newcastle, Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest.
It makes for a very entertaining final day of the season this Sunday, with many different scenarios and eventualities being possible.

Opta predict them to get Champions League football, finishing in 5th place!
According to Opta, Chelsea have a 43.3 per cent chance of winning against Forest. City have been given a 56.1 per cent probability of claiming all three points at Fulham, while Villa have been given a 51.2 per cent likelihood of winning against Manchester United.
Newcastle have been given the strongest chance of securing victory this weekend, with Opta forecasting a victory over Everton at 66.9 per cent likely. If the results pan out the way Opta have predicted, it would see the final table look like this:
3. Man City – 71 points
4. Newcastle United – 69 points
5. Chelsea – 69 points
6. Aston Villa – 69 points
7. Nottingham Forest – 65 points
