Chelsea midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka wants to return to Borussia Dortmund this summer, according to the Telegraph.
The 21-year-old is deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge and the Blues are open to selling him.
Chukwuemeka spent the second half of last season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, where he featured in 17 matches in all competitions.
Dortmund are keen to secure another loan move for him, while RB Leipzig have also expressed an interest.
Chelsea prefer a permanent sale and want a fee of around £40 million for Chukwuemeka, who has three years remaining on his current contract.
The asking price is too much for Dortmund, who are looking to seal another loan transfer.
Chelsea have been very active in the summer transfer window. They spent £30m to sign Liam Delap from Ipswich Town in June.
The splashed £60m to wrap up a deal for Joao Pedro, while Jamie Gittens arrived for a fee worth £48.5m from Dortmund.
Given their massive spending on new signings, Chelsea are now focused on offloading their unwanted stars.
Chukwuemeka joined Chelsea three years ago from Aston Villa, but he has yet to establish himself at the club.
The Blues are ready to cash in on him this summer, but their £40m valuation is a significant stumbling block.
