Chelsea have never lost any of their seven previous meetings with Danish opposition. København have only ever won two of 18 clashes with English clubs, albeit they've drawn both previous visits to Stamford Bridge 1-1 in 1998 and 0-0 in 2011.
Having established a first leg advantage at Parken a week ago, most fully expect Chelsea to book their place in the last eight. In the Danish capital last Thursday, the Blues struck twice shortly after half time, with Reece James on target from long-range, before Enzo Fernández netted soon after. 11 minutes from time, Gabriel Pereira's bullet header did half the deficit, but Chelsea still departed Copenhagen 2-1 winners, with most full expecting them to make that advantage count.
Enzo Maresca's side have now won seven successive Conference League fixtures, concluding the league phase with maximum points, scoring 26 goals across their six outings. Thus, considering Molde, Legia Warszawa, Pafos, Djurgården, Rapid Wien and Borac Banja Luka are the other clubs on this side of the draw, it would require a major upset for the Blues not to be featuring in Wrocław for the final on 26 May.
In Premier League terms, Chelsea have steadied the ship with back-to-back home wins of the division's bottom two teams; Marc Cucurella the match-winner against Leicester at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. So now, with a fierce London derby against Arsenal to come this weekend, will the Blues be too strong for their Conference League opposition once again?
As for København, they're aiming to reach the quarter-finals of a UEFA competition for just the second time, getting that far in the Europa League in 2020. This will be the Lions' 16th European fixture of the season and, if it's not to be their last, they'll have to cause a monumental upset.
Jacob Neestrup's team did spring a surprise in the previous round, ousting Heidenheim courtesy of a 3-1 victory in Germany, but the difficulty level will be exponentially higher in West London. At the weekend, København were held to a 1-1 draw by Sønderjyske so, following successive stalemates, have relinquished top spot in the Superligaen to Midtjylland, with 11 games to go. The Danish side have never won any of their previous eight visits to England, and we can't see that changing here.
Enzo Maresca, as he has done throughout, rotated his team in Denmark, with young attackers Tyrique George and Shim Mheuka amongst the starters. Reece James, who scored at Parken, sat out the weekend win over Leicester due to illness, but is expected to be available this time.
However, Malo Gusto, Roméo Lavia, Omari Kellyman, Noni Madueke, Marc Guiu and Nicolas Jackson all remain sidelined. In goal, Maresca continues to chop and change; Robert Sánchez started both last Thursday and at the weekend, so will he be donning the gloves again, or will Filip Jörgensen return?
Chelsea predicted lineup vs Copenhagen: (4-2-3-1): Sánchez; James, Adarabioyo, Badiashile, Colwill; Caicedo, Dewsbury-Hall, Sancho, Palmer, George; Mheuka.
Cole Palmer has 14 goals to his name this season, but is without a goal in nine, so can he end this draught?
Marcos López's yellow card a week ago means he is suspended, albeit Birger Meling is the first-choice left-back regardless. Jacob Neestrup is without Kevin Diks, who picked up an injury during the first leg, as well as Nicolai Boilesen, Thomas Delaney, Lukas Lerager, Oliver Højer, Roony Bardghji and Andreas Cornelius, who are also sidelined.
Former Southampton striker Mohamed Elyounoussi missed the tie a week ago due to injury, but was fit enough to come off the bench against Sønderjyske, so could he start this time?
Copenhagen predicted lineup vs Chelsea: (4-2-3-1): Ramaj, Gocholeishvili, Gabriel Pereira, Chatzidiakos, Meling; Clem, Froholdt, Claesson, Larsson, Achouri; Chiakha.
Viktor Claesson has seven goals to his name this season, on target during their very-first European tie of the season against Bruno's Magpies, so can he help prevent this from being their last?
We cannot see beyond a comfortable Chelsea victory at Stamford Bridge. The Blues have been too good for the Conference League and that won't change anytime soon: Chelsea 3-0 Copenhagen.
