Chelsea remain active in the transfer market as the January window approaches its final week.
The West Londoners have seen a bid rejected by Deportivo La Coruna for the Spanish side’s winger Yeremay. Fabrizio Romano has confirmed a €15m proposal from Chelsea/Strasbourg’s BlueCo Group has been turned down.
Yeremay has scored eight goals in 18 league starts for Deportivo in the Segunda Division this season and has been capped twice for Spain at u-21 level.
Deportivo are determined to keep the 22-year-old at the club until the summer at least, and have turned down further proposals from Italy.
In terms of exits, Renato Veiga is nearing a move away from Stamford Bridge. The summer signing has struggled for a regular role and has expressed interest in leaving the Blues before the deadline.
Veiga is understood to want opportunities at centre-back having featured predominantly at left-back since signing for Chelsea from Basel.
Juventus have agreed terms with Chelsea on a loan deal for the 21-year-old, who made his Portugal debut during the autumn internationals.
The deal will include a €5m loan fee, though no option to make the move permanent. Veiga will return to Chelsea after Juventus’ participation in the FIFA Club World Cup this summer.
