In January, a report revealed that Jordan Brand was ready to expand its umbrella in football as Paris Saint-Germain had been the company’s only partner in the sport. London-based clubs Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur were rumored to be the next partners, but now that won’t happen.

Last March, more reports surfaced that Chelsea was at risk of losing the partnership due to the possibility of not qualifying for a major European competition. Tottenham appeared to be on track to qualify for the UEFA Champions League, but Spurs finished outside the top four.

As a result, Sportico’s Łukasz Bączek reported on Saturday, citing sources, that Jordan Brand has decided not to partner with any of the London clubs, Chelsea or Tottenham, next season.

From the start, their main focus has been on the Champions League. Jordan Brand is expected to resume talks with Chelsea after the season, but it’s difficult to be hopeful. The chances of a deal are almost nonexistent.

PSG has been partnering with Jordan since 2018, but a report in January revealed that their partnership might be in jeopardy, as their contract only runs through the 2025-26 season.

However, this was quickly denied. Even so, doubts about whether the PSG-Jordan collaboration will continue beyond 2025-26 might linger until a new agreement is secured.
