Chelsea need a new number nine to replace Nicolas Jackson. While he had some bright moments this season, he was not consistent enough.

Victor Osimhen was a top target, but may move to Saudi Arabia instead. They have contacted Hugo Ekitike’s representatives and are also interested in Liam Delap.

Forwards Joao Felix and Christopher Nkunku are expected to leave the club and will need to be replaced.

Chelsea are looking to add new wingers. They were linked with Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho in January and could revive their interest.

The club want to agree a new deal with midfielder Moises Caicedo. The Ecuadorian has been a key player since joining from Brighton & Hove Albion.

Changes are expected in defence. Wesley Fofana and Axel Disasi could leave this summer, which would open the door for new signings.

The club are strongly linked with a move for Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi. He could provide much-needed stability at the back.

Goalkeeper Robert Sanchez could be on the chopping block. He made five errors that led to goals, the joint-most in the Premier League along with Ipswich Town’s Arijanet Muric.

Borussia Dortmund’s Gregor Kobel has been touted as a possible target.

With Champions League football secured, Chelsea must make wise purchases this summer to ensure they are competitive.
