Being a part of Borussia Dortmund since 2020, Jamie Gittens made his senior team debut in 2022. Since then, he has climbed up the ladders pretty quickly. He has already established himself as a key member of the squad, all thanks to his consistent performances.

Gittens is showing his talent and proving himself in the ongoing campaign. He has already netted 11 goals and provided five assists in 26 outings so far. He is averaging 2 shots, 0.8 key passes, and 2.9 dribbles per game (stats via whoscored).
The English attacker primarily plays on the left wing but can also be deployed in other areas. He is an intelligent player with incredible dribbling skills. He likes to cut in towards the goal to come at his stronger foot and create danger for the opposition.
Chelsea have become a hub for young talented footballers over the past few years. The club have been aggressive at targetting emerging talents to integrate them into the senior side or offload them at a hefty profit.
Hence, the interest in Jamie Gittens makes sense as he is one of the most exciting young prospects in world football at present. The youngster is already proving himself for the German club and a switch should be on the cards.
The 20-year-old is bound to have a bright future ahead of him. As far as the transfer price is concerned, it won’t come in cheap for sure. Chelsea can test the water by negotiating with Borussia Dortmund, who are known for selling their talents at good prices.
