Chelsea are reportedly hopeful of having one of their key players back from injury in time for the next Conference League game this week.

Chelsea will be looking to win this game and advance in this competition, and they will be hoping that a win against Southampton in the league last week will help build the momentum to do that.

EXCLUSIVE! The Goalkeeper Chelsea were very close to signing over Robert Sanchez – fans would have much preferred this!

The Saints were a very poor opposition of course, but Chelsea really needed a big win and a big performance, and that is exactly what they did last night right in the nick of time as they look to keep challenging for that all important Champions League spot.

Neto was superb playing as the number 9 and as well as getting his goal, he has explained why he loves playing as a striker with a hilarious answer!

Trevoh Chalobah is in contention to return from injury for Thursday, a report has revealed.

The Evening Standard are reporting that Chelsea are now hopeful of welcoming Chalobah back into the fold ahead of Thursday’s first leg.

Wesley Fofana could also be in contention to start the game after he returned to the squad last week for the first time after his latest injury lay off.

Nicolas Jackson is not expected to be back yet though and will need some more time out for his recovery. But he’ll be hoping for a strong end to the season.
