Chelsea have had an offer rejected by a club this window but with just £10m difference, a conclusion should not be close.

Things are super busy once again at Chelsea right now with the first of two summer transfer windows closing tomorrow night. The window will then open again on June the 16th and this is all so clubs can register news signings for the Club World Cup this month.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea make contact to sign Premier League and England star this summer!!

And Chelsea have done just that as well, with the announcement of centre back Mamadou Sarr joining from Strasbourg on Monday morning – he will now head out to the CWC to play for Chelsea.

The big situation right now is Mike Maignan of AC Milan, with Chelsea wanting to sign him as well. But this one is chipping on as The Blues quibble about his valuation which let’s be honest, is already very low. The player wants Chelsea though and is determined to join apparently.

Another player wanted by Chelsea this window, even before the deadline tomorrow, is Jamie Gittens from Dortmud, the latest news suggests that this one could genuinely get done with just a difference of £10m between the two clubs.

ESPN on Gittens to Chelsea

ESPN have the latest, and they claim that Chelsea are continuing to pursue a deal for Jamie Gittens despite Dortmund holding out for a fee in the region of £40 million.

The Blues have had one offer rejected — believed to be around £30m per the report — but talks are ongoing in an effort to find an agreement, with the 20-year-old keen on a move to Stamford Bridge.

The fact he is keen on the move would suggest that this one gets done as well as the fact that they can probably now just meet somewhere in the middle with add-ons.
