Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville has just put out his final top five finish predictions and it is not great news for Chelsea fans.

Of course, they will be hoping Neville gets this wrong, but it is a really tough time for Chelsea right now after another defeat at the weekend.

The Blues lost 2-1 against Aston Villa on Saturday evening after being 1-0 up inside the first 20 minutes. I think Chelsea fans would have just expected even at that point, that their side were still going to lose this game, and they did.

Yet another horror goalkeeper error from Chelsea saw Villa grab the winning goal near the end of the game, but we all saw it coming.

Chelsea could not score and were really terrible. Even Cole Palmer was terrible, and he was seen trying to blame others for a bad pass that HE himself made. This just about sums everything up right now.

Neville fancies Villa

The former Manchester United defender does not overly fancy Chelsea to get into the top five but he has given them a 50/50 chance.

He’s gone for Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Newcastle, and Aston Villa to make the top five come the end of the season, but says it’s really close.

Neville told Sky Sports:

“I fancy Villa to get into the top four. Their options up front now are good. Nottingham Forest have been amazing but they will find it hard to hang in there. City, Villa, Newcastle, Chelsea, it could be a long 12 games for Forest. Chelsea are 50/50. At the moment I’m saying City, Newcastle, and Villa, but it’s really close.”
