Chelsea had captain Reece James to thank as they salvaged a late 2-2 draw with Bournemouth on Tuesday.
Chelsea dominated on the stats sheet in the first half, firing in 13 shots compared to Bournemouth's one, and deservedly took an early lead through Cole Palmer's ice-cold low finish 13 minutes in.
Justin Kluivert tied things up shortly after the restart from the penalty spot after Antoine Semenyo was felled by Moises Caicedo and, after David Brooks avoided a potential red card for catching Marc Cucurella in the face, Semenyo crashed home his own goal from inside the penalty area to put Bournemouth into a commanding position.
It looked like the Cherries would hold on for an impressive win, only for the returning Reece James to bend a lovely free-kick into Mark Travers' bottom corner to earn his side a share of the spoils deep into stoppage time.
