Preston North End are reportedly interested in Manchester United youngster Charlie McNeil.
The EFL Championship club are said to want a new striker, and McNeil is one of the names mentioned.
The 19 year old is an exceptional talent and one that excites all United fans.
“Preston North End have been linked with two young Premier League strikers after missing out on Cameron Archer to Middlesbrough.”
“A more recent link has been with Manchester United’s Charlie McNeill, who is being given the green light to head out on loan, according to our sister title, the Manchester Evening News.”
“North End already have Alvaro Fernandez on loan from United, along with Tottenham Hotspur striker Troy Parrott.”
“PNE have not ruled out signing two strikers this month, on the back of injury to Emil Riis, but McNeill is not understood to be on North End’s January wish list.”
McNeil would gain valuable experience playing in the Championship.
It is said to be one of the toughest leagues in the world and is the perfect place to test out players’ physical and mental strength.
The 19 year old is expected to be an important part of United’s attacking department in the future; hence must prepare himself well.
He can follow in the footsteps of Amad Diallo, who is killing it at Sunderland.
McNeil’s loan move to Preston would be great business conducted by Man United.
