Joan Laporta, president of FC Barcelona, dreams of seeing his team face PSG next season in the Champions League.

European champions, PSG will be the team to beat in the Champions League during the 2025-2026 campaign. And FC Barcelona are already determined to take on the Parisians. In fact, during an interview with CNN this Wednesday, FC Barcelona president Joan Laporta expressed his desire to challenge PSG in the UCL after missing out on a clash in the 2024-2025 edition.

"PSG had a fantastic season, they won the Champions League, Ligue 1 and at the same time delivered beautiful football, with a great coach, excellent players, and a very solid team. Unfortunately, we weren't able to play against them. It's a match the football world wanted to see, because I believe these were the two most competitive and best-prepared teams last season.
