After the conclusion of this week’s Champions League play-off round matches, UEFA will host another draw at the end of the week to determine the fixtures for the Round of 16. Here is everything you need to know about the draw and how it works.
There will be another round of Champions League play-off fixtures on Tuesday and Wednesday. Milan will look to overturn a 1-0 deficit against Feyenoord, Atalanta a 2-1 loss against Club Brugge, while Juventus have a 2-1 advantage over PSV. Inter have already booked their spot in the last 16.
The teams who finished the league phase in the top eight have all qualified directly for the Round of 16, and they will be joined by the eight winners of the play-off ties.

The play-off round draw has already determined part of the round of 16 draw.
The ‘top eight’ teams from the league phase are seeded into pairs: First and second place, third and fourth place, fifth and sixth place and seventh and eighth place. Each of those pairings can face one of four teams.
There will be four pots, each containing one of the four pairings. One team will be drawn from each pot. They will then learn which team they will face in the Round of 16. The other seeded teams drawn out of the pot will be placed into the other side of the bracket.
The seeded teams will play their Round of 16 second legs at home.
Potential fixtures have already been determined after the play-off round draw. The possible fixture combinations are as follows:
