Cesc Fàbregas speaks out on possible Como deal for Barcelona’s Ansu Fati | OneFootball

Como head coach Cesc Fàbregas has this weekend spoken out on the potential signing of Barcelona star Ansu Fati.

This comes after the Italian club were named as the latest possible landing spot for the 22-year-old.

Wide-man Ansu is of course widely expected to seal a departure from Catalunya’s capital before the month is out, having fallen alarmingly down the pecking order of Barca boss Hansi Flick.

In fact, on Saturday, despite being fully fit, the Spanish international was completely omitted from the Blaugrana’s squad for the 4th game in succession.

A whole host of clubs, in turn, have been credited with an interest in his signature.

The latest to have been added to the shortlist, late last night, were the aforementioned Como, as the Serie A newcomers continue to showcase their impressive intent on the market.

Speaking to the media on Saturday, it therefore came as little surprise when the subject of Ansu’s potential arrival was put to the aforementioned Cesc Fàbregas.

The ex-Barcelona midfielder, however, was quick to shut the rumours down:

“Ansu Fati links are not true. There’s nothing at all.”
