Celtic face Chelsea in their final pre-season game this evening. The Scottish Champions meet with the London side at the Notre Damn Stadium in Indiana, which is the home of the Fighting Irish. Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers will be hoping to follow up their impressive displays in the wins over DC United and Manchester City with a fine performance against Enzo Maresca’s outfit.

Team News

Maik Nawrocki remains sidelined with a knock but Cameron Carter-Vickers is in line to return. The Celts are still without Alistair Johnston as he continues to work back from his Copa America run. Carter-Vickers will likely start as the manager looks to get the USA Internationalist fit and firing for next weekend’s Premiership opener against Killie.

Kasper Schmeichel was brilliant in the win over Man City and will likely be retained from the start.

Expect a backline of Tony Ralston, Carter-Vickers, Liam Scales and Greg Taylor to start. The four are most likely to start on Flag Day next weekend.

In midfield, Matt O”Riley will start alongside Reo Hatate and Callum McGregor in the first half.

In attack, expect Kyogo to lead the line with Daizen Maeda and Nicolas Kühn on the right. The German was incredible in the first half against City, scoring twice and assisting once. Despite picking up a knee knock, the winger will be fit to play against Chelsea.

The manager will shuffle the pack and spread the minutes around his squad throughout the game.

Kick Off Time

The game kicks off at 9pm (Celtic Park Time) with the game beginning at 4pm (Local).

Where to Watch

The game will be shown on Celtic TV to all subscribers, with coverage starting shortly before kickoff. For supporters that do not subscribe, they can buy a PPV stream to catch all the action.

Not only can fans watch on Celtic TV, there are a number of regional broadcasts available: such as ABC in America, Paramount+ in Australia and Disney+ in countries across South America.
