“Paradise will be packed out once again for the upcoming #UCL knockout phase play-off match against Bayern Munich, as all tickets are now SOLD-OUT,” Celtic’s update on social media states.
It’s Celtic’s first knock-out tie in the Champions League for 13 years and with a packed and incredibly excited Celtic Park crowd in full voice the team are certainly not going to be left wanting for support from the stands at the most atmospheric football arena in European football.

Bayern Munich of course are no strangers to massive crowds and their top quality players will relish the occasion. However it’s the impact that the support can have on the Celtic team as they set about trying to build a lead to take back to the Allianz Arena in Munich six days later.
Feyenoord recent beat Bayern Munich 3-0 in the Champions League so it is possible that Celtic can have a victory to defend in a second leg which will also see a huge travelling support at the Allianz Arena to cheer on the Bhoys – young Lubo98 of this parish is in Munich today sniffing around on the prowl for tickets!
UEFA today confirmed that Celtic had been fined €10k rather than being hit by an away fan-ban because of the actions of one supporter at Villa Park at the end of January. Thankfully that argument was persuasive enough and many thousands of Celtic supporters will now be organising their travel arrangements to be there.

And of course for the second leg we will also have the Magnificent Daizen Maeda available too. Bet they’ve never seen anyone like Daizen before!
