Here's the six saves that have made the April Castrol Save of the Month shortlist:

The April Castrol Save of the Month winner made yet another stunning stop in May, this time to deny Fulham's Tosin Adarabioyo.Matz Sels was at full stretch to tip a thumping header from Tosin around the post in a vital 3-1 win for Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

The summer signing has been a regular throughout 2024 at Crystal Palace, and judging by his recent performances it's easy to see why. Dean Henderson has made some fantastic saves of late, with the pick of the bunch being his one against Man City at Selhurst Park. The England international scampered quickly across his goal line to get a hand on a half-volleyed effort from Rodri to prevent what looked like a certain goal.

3. Alisson Becker vs Crystal Palace

Alisson has been a regular nominee for the Castrol Save of the Month award throughout the 2023/24 season. The Liverpool number one was once again at his best in a recent clash with Crystal Palace, showing cat-like reflexes to deny the in-form Jean-Philippe Mateta from point-blank range.

4. Lukasz Fabianski vs Fulham

39-year-old Lukasz Fabianski rolled back the years in his fifth start of the Premier League season against Fulham in April. The goalkeeper made eight saves in the game, with his one to tip a Alex Iwobi strike from just inside the penalty area around the post being the pick of the bunch.

Burnley goalkeeper Arijanet Muric was arguably the best player on the pitch in a recent 4-1 win over Sheffield United. His save to palm a wonderful curling effort from James MacAtee over the crossbar was the best of a rather remarkable 10 saves he made in the win.

Andre Onana has been one of Man Utd's most consistent performers since the turn of the year, particularly in the Premier League. The Man Utd number 24 showed off his superb reflexes in a recent draw with Burnley, shifting his feet and body position quickly in order to get a hand to a point-blank header from Lyle Foster.
