Manchester United midfielder Casemiro says this has been "one of the most successful seasons" of his career.
Casemiro collected 18 major honours, including five Champions League titles, over nine years at Real Madrid.
Since joining United for £70 million in 2022, the 33-year-old has lifted just the FA Cup and the League Cup.
United currently sit 16th in the Premier League with only one match remaining, but they could still finish the campaign with a trophy if they defeat Tottenham in Wednesday's Europa League final.
Although United’s league form has been underwhelming, Casemiro says he feels "proud" for earning his place back in the squad.
The Brazilian international was sidelined by former manager Erik ten Hag after two errors led to goals in a 3-0 loss to rivals Liverpool in September.
When Ruben Ruben Amorim took charge in November, Casemiro was benched in nine of the first 13 games under the new coach.
"This was one of the seasons I think I feel most proud of myself," Casemiro told ESPN Brasil.
"It's been a long time since I've been through a moment like this, where the coach doesn't count on you, but you keep working, keep doing things well."
Despite the rocky beginning under Amorim, Casemiro has been instrumental in United’s Europa League campaign — appearing in 12 matches and scoring in both legs of the semi-final clash with Athletic Bilbao.
"Of course, you want to win titles, but one of the most successful seasons of my career, without a doubt, was this one. For turning things around, with hard work and dedication," he added.
