After all, his goal even took Barcelona to within minutes of the UCL final, only for the team to botch it up.

He missed the game against Ecuador for Brazil through suspension, and the team ended up drawing the game. Up next, he will look to get the team back to winning ways against Paraguay.

Ancelotti speaks on Raphinha

Speaking to the media, the Brazil national team’s new manager, Carlo Ancelotti, opened up on his plans with the Selecao and how he planned to bring them back to their best.

Speaking about Raphinha, the tactician made it clear how much he values Raphinha and his dynamism in his plans and went on to explain the role he will play with Brazil from tonight’s game onwards.

“Yes, Raphinha will return, and this is good news for us because he showed last season that he is one of the best players in football, and he will help us a lot,” he began saying.

He even confirmed Raphinha’s participation in the game, saying,

“The match is important tomorrow, and we need to perform well to get closer to the goal and qualify, and Raphinha’s presence will be very important.”

The Selecao are set to take on Paraguay in what will be a massive game, given that their opponents are two points ahead of them with as many games played in the World Cup qualifiers so far.

Both will likely qualify, but Brazil will not fancy finishing fourth on the leaderboard. A win tomorrow will propel them up to second place, one that at least does justice to the talent they boast.
