EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea open club-to-club talks to sign star after getting the player buy-in!

So I am sure that Chelsea fans will still be very eager to hear about what he’s saying about Simons who now appears to be a top Chelsea target this summer window.

Simons to Chelsea looks ON!

Matt Law of The Telegraph had a very positive Simons to Chelsea update out this morning saying how Simons is more likely to want to join Chelsea over Arsenal, which of course is great news for Blues fans.

And transfer expert Fabrizio Romano  had already put his very positive update out on Simons to Chelsea earlier today, signaling that the player had already said he is keen to join Chelsea.

So it’s simmering now for sure.

What has Tuchel said about Simons?

Tuchel mentioned Simons best position and his best attributes, and it seems like he really does like the player.

“I think his best position is half winger, half 10, so he can be free. He is technically strong, calm with the ball, and very good in front of goal.”

Simons is certainly very much a hybrid and flexible attacker and can play in a number of different positions across the front three and also a bit deeper in some midfield and wide roles too.

What a flexible player to have in your squad and I am sure that is a huge part of the appeal for Chelsea to bring him in this summer.

Let’s see what happens with it then…
