Two Bundesliga clubs should have new arrivals to introduce on Monday. Kicker reports that rumored deals involving a return to Augsburg for former German national team striker Mërgim Berisha and another Danish arrival (Mads Roerslev Rasmussen) in Wolfsburg are near the finish line. One assumes both players will be unveiled shortly.
Berisha is set to return to the Fuggerstadt on loan from Hoffenheim. Previous reports on the deal suggested that Berisha’s permanent move to Augsburg should be nothing more than a formality. An automatic purchase clause linked to a small number of appearances is said to be built into the loan arrangement.
Brentford’s Roerslev shall join his compatriot Andreas Skov Olsen as a new January arrival in the northern Autostadt. Wolfsburg’s Danish managing director Peter Christiansen proceeds with an active (and expensive) transfer window. Skov Olsen cost die Wölfe a reported €14m. Roerslev maintains an estimated €12m market worth.
Roerslev was on the pitch for his Premier League side last matchday as the Bees traveled to South London to take on Crystal Palace, meaning that a medical might not be scheduled until later on Monday. In any event, Kicker reports that the deal is basically done. No details have been offered yet.
