Brighton table offer for Verona’s Diego Coppola | OneFootball

Premier League outfits Brighton have sent a bid to Serie A side Verona for Diego Coppola.

According to a report by L’Arena via Tutto Hellas Verona, Brighton have tabled an offer worth just under €10 million for Coppola. The defender is a prized possession for Verona now, as they aim to maximise his transfer value following his first call-up to the Italian National Team.

This move by The Seagulls have awakened Premier League sides in the form of Aston Villa and Brentford to the situation, as they remain interested parties in the saga. Juventus have also entered the race but are yet to send an official offer.

Verona look to make a significant profit from Coppola’s potential sale and the Venetian club could be in for a double treat as numerous European clubs have now opened to the possibility of signing wing-back Jackson Tchatchoua.
