There are several Leeds players on the Seagulls' radar, with a couple of new names appearing on their target list.

Brighton and Hove Albion have spoken to Leeds United about the possibility of recruiting Willy Gnonto and Glen Kamara in recent weeks, according to TBR Football.

The Whites are likely to be vulnerable to bids for some of their star players during the 2024 summer transfer window, following their play-off final defeat against Southampton back in May.

They have already lost Archie Gray, and although they were able to secure the signature of Joe Rodon after Gray's departure, Leeds fans may be worried about the possibility of losing some of their other players.

Crysencio Summerville is someone who is likely to attract plenty of interest in the coming weeks, having enjoyed a remarkable campaign at Elland Road last term.

Proving to be a game-changer in the final third, it's no surprise that the Dutchman has been the subject of interest from Brighton.

Georginio Rutter is another player who has attracted interest from the south-coast club, having enjoyed a fairly successful 2023/24 campaign.

Rutter may have struggled during the early stages of his time at Elland Road, but he has looked much more of an asset at a lower level and may be ready to make the step back up to the Premier League.

However, Leeds look set to take a tough stance on the attacking midfielder, with Daniel Farke's side rejecting a £30m bid from the Seagulls in recent days.

TBR Football have now reported that Brighton have taken an interest in Gnonto and Kamara, with the Seagulls engaging in talks with Leeds regarding the pair in recent weeks.

Young winger Gnonto didn't enjoy the best start to the 2023/24 season, with a transfer saga and an injury he sustained playing a big part in that.

However, the Italian became more and more of an asset as the season went on and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him attract bids again this summer.

Central midfielder Kamara was another key player at Elland Road last season following his move from Scottish Premiership side Rangers, but the Seagulls aren't alone in this race with French top-tier club Stade Rennais also thought to be keen on him.

Summerville is clearly a player who can make the step up to the top tier, even if his form during the latter stages of the campaign wasn't the best.

Showing that he can be a real force in the final third, the winger could be a great addition to have at the Amex Stadium.

Rutter is also an extremely talented player and with his energy in a central advanced midfield role proving to be useful for Leeds last term, he could be a good signing for a top-tier side.

Gnonto, meanwhile, will only get better considering he's still young and he could be a good player to have both centrally and out wide.

Central midfielder Kamara is a steady figure to have in the middle of the park, but he's unlikely to be cheap considering the lack of midfield options that the Whites currently have.
