PSG run out 4-0 winners against Atlético de Madrid, who, despite their chances, could not stand the test against the Champions League holders.

A perfect start for Luis Enrique and company.

Lee Kang-In converts from the penalty spot to make it 4-0 just before the final whistle after Atleti were judged to have committed handball in the box.

Alexander Sørloth misses an absolute sitter through the Norwegian, who only had to apply a simple finish at the back post, but he gets it all wrong with less than ten minutes remaining.

Atlei thought they were back in the fight thanks to a tidy finish from Álvarez to cut the deficit in half, but Koke was judged to have fouled PSG starlet Désiré Doue in the build-up.

Oblak brilliantly denies Kvaratskhelia's golden opportunity to make it 3-0, with the big shot-stopper at full stretch to tip the Georgian's effort off the bar!


No changes for PSG before the restart, but Samuel Lino has been removed by Simeone and replaced by Koke.


As for Atleti, it's going to take something special for Diego Simeone's men to come back on current evidence, but perhaps they can draw inspiration from their 2-1 win over PSG back in November.


It's been an impressive first period in Paris for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who should prove influential this summer for PSG in a tournament they no doubt are one of the favorites to win.
