Victor Boniface is closing in on a move to AC Milan, according to multiple sources like Sky Germany.

The Italian club and Bayer Leverkusen are in direct talks to finalize a permanent transfer for the Nigerian international.

In the last 48 hours, Milan submitted an official offer, which the Rhinelanders are currently reviewing thoroughly.

All parties are confident that the deal will go through with Milan's sporting director Igli Tare actively pursuing Boniface's transfer.

Boniface has already reached an agreement in principle with Milan and is now awaiting the final green light.

Last season, Boniface managed just 19 Bundesliga appearances while providing 8 goals and a solitary assist.
