Bisseck Comments After Signing New Contract with Inter

As expected and anticipated by Javier Zanetti recently, Yann Aurel Bisseck has put pen to paper on his new deal that will run until 2029. He spoke to Inter TV after the signature (via Tuttomercatoweb).

“I think I’ve outperformed the initial expectations toward me, as I don’t believe many knew me when I first joined. I worked hard and learned the scheme, Italian football, and the language. It has been an experience filled with success for me so far.” “I can grow in many things. I’m at a good level physically and technically, but I have to get better from a mental and tactical standpoint.”

Bisseck was quizzed about whether he thought he would have been able to make such a big jump.

“I’ve always believed I could have a nice career. Coming here wasn’t easy, but I never stopped thinking it would be possible. What’s happening now is beautiful for my family. I’ll try to continue like this.” “I didn’t expect to arrive in a top club and find kind teammates. In these situations, you aren’t always respected at first, but everybody welcomed me well and made me feel good. I can say that Milan is my home now.”

Bisseck has quickly won over the fans.

“Maybe being called an idol is too much at this stage, but I love them and the support they gave us. We had some nice moments, but they have been close to us in every situation. I hope to keep pleasing them and reciprocate with excellent showings and many more trophies.”
