West Ham United have big concerns over the team’s progress since Julen Lopetegui took over as manager, according to the Daily Mail.
The Hammers suffered another blow on Tuesday night when they were beaten 3-1 by fellow strugglers Leicester City at the King Power Stadium.
Lopetegui was heavily backed in the summer transfer window as West Ham signed a raft of new players, but he started with just three of the new faces against the Foxes; four were on the bench.
There was pressure on the West Ham manager before the game on Tuesday night and the loss has only served to increase it.
And now there are big concerns inside West Ham about the lack of progress that has been made since the former Wolves boss took over.
West Ham have now lost three of their last five league games, winning just one of those, and are next due to welcome Wolves to the London Stadium.
Wolves, Lopetegui’s former club, are another side struggling and the Molineux outfit are in action this evening when they head to take on Everton at Goodison Park.
West Ham beat Wolves both home and away last season and Lopetegui will badly want the record to continue next week.
