Bayern Munich are scouring the market for a left-winger and the Bundesliga giants are considering a move for Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens (20). L’Equipe reports this Sunday that the Bundesliga champions are exploring several options to bolster Vincent Kompany’s squad. Bayern Munich’s long-standing pursuit of Bayer Leverkusen prodigy Florian Wirtz has been hijacked by Liverpool. Meanwhile, the Rekordmeister have launched a desperate attempt to steer Athletic Club winger Nico Williams out of Barcelona.

Given their primary targets elude them, Bayern Munich have also enquired about Bradley Barcola’s PSG exit terms, but L’Equipe understands such an effort will be “almost impossible.” The France international is tied to Luis Enrique’s Les Parisiens until 2028. With Williams and Barcola seemingly out of reach for the foreseeable future, Bayern Munich’s most advanced pursuit leads to Gittens.

The outlet adds that Bayern have already contacted the U21 England international’s entourage as well as his club, Borussia Dortmund. But the Schwarzgelben have already received several bids from Chelsea to acquire Gittens. Will Bayern Munich steal a march on the Blues?
