Check back in tomorrow as we're back at it across all four matches on the docket, including a Clash of the Americas fixture between River Plate and Monterrey.

FULL-TIME

And that's the full-time whistle at Hard Rock Stadium as Bayern earn a 2-1 win across a highly entertaining 90 minutes of action against a Boca side who fought tooth and nail to try to earn at least a point in Miami.

Bayern are through to the Round of 16 while Boca will hope to win on the final day against Auckland City, with the Argentine giants hoping to get a bit of help from Kompany's men, who clash with Benfica next.

And that's hit the outside netting. He so nearly catches Marchesín out with that one.

A late free-kick for Bayern with four minutes left in added time...

It'll be eight minutes of added time in Miami. Can Bayern hold on or is there another magical moment in Boca's locker before the full-time whistle?

GOAL!!

Bayern fires back to take a late 2-1 lead thanks to an expert finish from Michael Olise!

Boca could not properly deal with the pressure in their box before the Frenchman was teed up by Kane to dispatch a bending effort into the far corner.

A lovely hit from the former Crystal Palace man.

Jamal Musiala pulls up injured and is immediately replaced by Bayern icon Thomas Müller. Could he now miss the rest of the tournament due to injury? He's had his fitness struggles in the past.

Boca make their final changes of the night;

OFF: Merentiel, Velasco

ON: Zeballos, Saracchi

Further changes from both sides

Bayern: Guerreiro and Coman off, Upamecano and Sané on

Boca: Palacios and Belmonte off, Giménez and Alarcón on

GOAL!!!!

Boca Juniors pull level through a stunning solo run from Miguel Merentiel. What a moment of magic from the Uruguayan to hit his second goal of the tournament.

Change for Boca;

OFF: Zenón

ON: Braida

A good counter from Boca, their bread and butter in attack, sees them stretch Bayern before a cross is dealt with appropriately.

The Argentine giants have begun to find a bit more space and joy on the break since the interval.

Double change for Bayern;

OFF: Goretzka, Gnabry

ON: Pavlović, Musiala

CHANCE!

A drop of the shoulder gifts Kane enough space to have a crack at goal but his effort was blocked by Lautaro Di Lollo. Corner for Bayern...and that comes to nothing as Boca clears, but Bayern recycle possession again.

CHANCE!

Bayern scuffs another opportunity to make it two-nil on the night, with Olise mis-hitting his first-time effort from the center of the penalty area right at Marchesín. The French international needed to do better there.

Chance for Boca!

A barnstorming run from Luis Advíncula ends in an opportunity wasted after the Peruvian opts to go for goal from outside the area, only to blaze his effort well over the bar.

Jamal Musiala and Leroy Sané look to be preparing to warm up along the touchline.

No changes for either side during the break as we're back underway for the second-half at Hard Rock Stadium.

HALF-TIME

Bayern are justifiably ahead as we head into the half-time interval thanks to a goal from Harry Kane.

Kingsley Coman missed an absolute sitter to double the advantage, but Boca managed a few moments at the other end to show enough attacking intent from them to give Kompany's men a moment of pause.

Kane strikes his effort just over the bar but Marchesín seemed to have it covered.

Another chance for Bayern from a dead ball after Gnabry was brought down by Belmonte...is this the moment they double their advantage?

Bayern earn a free-kick after Kane is hacked down by Costa outside of the box. Kompany's men will hope to bag a second before the interval as Boca have begun to work themselves into the match.

It's Boca who are enjoying a small spell of their own, with another chance for Zenón saved well by Neuer.

And that's dealt with comfortably by Bayern as they now break into the box through the lightning-quick Coman, whose ball finds Olise but a heavy touch from the Frenchman lets him down as Marchesín gratefully collects.

Neuer punches clear after a rasping hit from Kevin Zenón. Boca corner...

Boca manages to get forward and earn a free-kick just outside of Bayern's penalty area.

Can they restore parity here?

It should be 2-0 Bayern here after Kingsley Coman somehow failed to tap home from inside the six-yard box.

Vincent Kompany's men are at their dominant best here thus far.

GOAL!!

And there's the breakthrough! Harry Kane slots home from inside the area to open his Club World Cup account after Boca failed to clear Olise's ball into the box. A lovely touch from the England man to control before slotting home.

It's all Bayern here in the opening 15 minutes. Another corner for the Bundesliga giants, who are currently boasting 75% possession.

Despite their goal being pulled back, Bayern looks in the mood tonight, but surely another drubbing on the scoresheet is not forthcoming.

Boca does need to settle into the match quickly before they find themselves a goal down.

GOAL DISALLOWED!!

Bayern nearly took the lead inside ten minutes after Michael Olise's corner found its way into the back of the net, but Serge Gnabry was judged to have interfered with Boca shot-stopper Agustin Marchesín after VAR reviewed the incident.

And we are now underway at Hard Rock Stadium between two massive names in the world of football.

Bayern look to keep their momentum going after their destruction of Auckland City while booking passage into the knockout stage, while Boca hopes to fly the flag of Argentinian and South American football high en route to an upset in Miami.

Player introductions commence as we're just minutes away from kick-off in Miami.

Up next in under an hour, the big fixture of the day as Bayern come to grips with Boca Juniors at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium.

Here are the XIs from both sides ahead of kick-off:

Despite coming in as the favourite this evening, many still may have doubted Espérance, but an overall strong outing from Maher Kanzari's Red and Yellow side puts them in for an intriguing final group match against Chelsea. A win for Tunis would see them progress into the knockout stage.

The inquest surrounding LAFC is sure to continue after failing to score a single goal in the tournament, with Bouanga coming in for some heavy criticism given his stature both at the club and in MLS.

FULL-TIME

ES Tunis holds on for a massive three-point haul against LAFC thanks to that last-minute penalty save to send the MLS side packing from the tournament. What an end to proceedings in Nashville!

SAVE!!!!

They can't!! A massive save from Ben Said denied Bouanga from the spot to keep ES Tunis in the lead in the final moments of play!!

PENALTY!!

LAFC have earned a chance to pull level in the final minute of play after Marlon was brought down in the area!!

Can they keep their slim hopes of progression alive?!

Bouanga can only hit the wall with his effort, with Bechir Ben Said making a comfortable follow-up save.

We're three minutes into the whopping eight minutes of added time awarded and LAFC has a golden chance with a free-kick just outside the area...

A final change for LAFC;

ON: Ebobisse

OFF: Giroud

OVER THE BAR!

Yan Sasse has another glorious chance to find the back of the net since his introduction, but he could only shoot over the bar on his preferred foot in the wake of his darting run into the area!

A triple change by LAFC;

ON: Yeboah, Marlon, Amaya

OFF: Hollingshead, Delgado, Tillman

OFF THE BAR!

Espérance so nearly makes it 2-0 after a long-range effort from Khalil Guenichi hits off Igor Jesus before rattling Lloris' bar!

GOAL!!!

Deadlock broken in Nashville sees ES Tunis take the lead with 20 minutes remaining through a near-post finish from Belaili

CHANCE!

A strong hand from Lloris denies Yan Sasse minutes after his introduction to keep the score deadlocked at 0-0.

At the other end, Giroud wins his header off the corner but the Frenchman could only balloon his effort over the bar.

A double change by Espérance at the hour mark;

ON: Yan Sasse, Achref Jabri

OFF: Rodrigo Rodrigues and Elias Mokwana

Bouanga yet again breaks into the box after being put into space by Giroud, but the Gabonese winger was, once again, just offside.

PENALTY OVERTURNED!!

ES Tunis thought they had a massive chance to open the scoring from the spot after Bouanga was originally judged to have brought Belaili down in the penalty area, but after a review from the VAR team, Belaili was shown a yellow for simulation.

The second-half is underway, with LAFC boss Steve Cherundolo making a change before the restart, bringing on Javairo Delruson in place of David Martinez.

HALF-TIME

And that's the half-time whistle in Nashville. ES Tunis has no doubt carved out the better scoring chances in the opening 45 minutes of action, but a settled LAFC may be primed for an early push after the break.

This first-half produced the fewest shots of any fixture in the Club World Cup thus far across that time frame, but surely there are goals in this.

Two minutes of added time on the clock, in what has been a decent outing by Espérance. Steve Cherundolo will no doubt need to make a few chances before the restart.

A routine cooling break on the half-hour mark given the brutal nature of summer in many parts of the United States, and it's something fans will have to get used to for next summer during the World Cup.

OFFSIDE!

LAFC comes close once again, just like the earlier passage of play, with the Black and Gold denied by the offside flag after David Martinez thought he found the opener just before the half-hour mark.

ES Tunis supporters have been loudly supporting their beloved club since kick-off. Another example of how fans around the globe show up in a big way.

OFFSIDE!

A warning shot across Tunis' bow after an LAFC opener was pulled back for offside after star winger Denis Bouanga was fractionally offside in the build-up after a redirect from Olivier Giroud. Are Steve Cherundolo's troops finding their footing here?

CHANCE!

It's all Tunis in the opening minutes here with another big opportunity falling to the Tunisian giants, this time for Rodrigo Rodrigues, but the Brazilian could only hit woodwork!

CHANCE!

Hugo Lloris keeps Tunis off the scoresheet inside the opening five minutes after Youcef Belaili had a golden opportunity to break the deadlock, but his effort couldn't find its way past the Frenchman on either side.

And we're off in Nashville! Which side will take a big stride in possible qualification to the knockout stages?

ES Tunis fans are out in their numbers this evening, hoping for a critical result against one of the best MLS has to offer.

The two teams are going through their announcement paces to head out onto the pitch before we get underway.

Ten minutes away from kick-off at Nashville's GEODIS Park, with a loss for either side guaranteeing elimination from the Club World Cup.

Given Chelsea's shock loss at the hands of Flamengo, a vital three points could have either LAFC or ES Tunis in line to progress from the group stage.

LAFC AND ESPÉRANCE DE TUNIS ANNOUNCE THEIR XIs

Join us an hour from now as Friday's action from the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup continues as MLS stalwarts LAFC lock horns with Tunisian side Espérance de Tunis before German juggernaut Bayern Munich clashes with legendary Argentinian side Boca Juniors to bookend another entertaining day in the United States.

Some great action in the early Club World Cup games today. Stick with us for more live coverage for the upcoming pair of matches.

FULL TIME: Benfica 6-0 Auckland City

A very comfortable win for Benfica, who scored four second-half goals to down a second-best Auckland side. There was a two-hour bad weather delay in this clash, but it didn't seem to faze the Eagles one bit.

GOAL BENFICA

There was time for one more and Di Maria makes no mistake from 12-yards and curls into the net. 6-0.

PENALTY BENFICA

Di Maria steps to take it.

PENALTY APPEAL

Benfica have a late penalty shout as Angel Di Maria goes down inside the box. It's going to VAR.

Benfica are dominating Auckland as the game enters injury time. The Portuguese giants have attempted 31, yes, 31, shots on goal.

Ending a 25-year record!

We're still going in the delayed Benfica vs Auckland game. A few minutes to go here and Benfica are well on their way to victory, currently leading 5-0.

FULL TIME: Flamengo 3-1 Chelsea

A fantastic second-half showing from Flamengo secures victory and the Brazilians go to the top of Group D. Despite a strong start, Chelsea capitulated, especially after Jackson's sending-off, and suffered a shock defeat.

Chelsea really trying to get something back in the final stages against Flamengo, but the Brazilians are keeping the Blues at arm's length.

5-0 BENFICA

It's going to be another big defeat for Auckland, who were thumped 10-0 on matchday one by Bayern Munich. Leandro Barreiro nets a quickfire double and it's another close-range finish from about three yards out.

Marc Guiu gets on the end of a deflected shot but can't find a way past Rossi.

A touch of fortune about Flamengo's third, a poacher's instinct, let's say.

GOAL BENFICA!

The Eagles are having fun out there this evening and Leandro Barreiro gets in on the action, tapping in from inside the six-yard box. 4-0 Benfica with 10 minutes left.

Chelsea have a free-kick and Noni Madueke shoots high and wide from 25 yards. Sums up the Blues' second half really.

GOAL FLAMENGO!

Surely that settles it. Flamengo's third is a tad scrappy but they won't care as Wallace Yan gets in the way of Plata's shot and somehow manages to control and fire past Sánchez.

CHANCE CHELSEA

Fernández gets a bit too much on his header that just loops over the crossbar and onto the net.

Jackson's sending off. Not sure Chelsea can argue that one...

Flamengo all over Chelsea right now and Gerson has a pop straight at Sánchez.

BENFICA GOAL

It's 3-0 and Benfica are cruising to victory over Auckland. Renato Sanches is next to get on the scoresheet with a deflected strike from 20 yards that nestles in the bottom corner.

And here's a look at Benfica's second over Auckland.

Here's Flamengo's second goal. It meant a lot to the Brazilian outfit!

JACKSON SENT OFF

Uh oh! Things go from bad to worse for Chelsea as Nicolas Jackson makes a rash tackle on Ayrton Lucas and the referee doesn't hesitate to brandish a red card.

GOAL FLAMENGO!

Wow! In minutes, Flamengo have turned this game on its head and Danilo volleys in from inside the six-yard area.

GOAL BENFICA

Goal! Vangelis Pavlidis finishes off an excellent team move to put the Portuguese side 2-0 up!

GOAL FLAMENGO!

It's been coming! Flamengo equalised after Plata nods across the goal to set up Bruno Henrique for a simple tap-in.

CLOSE FLAMENGO!

That's the closest Flamengo have come so far as Gonzalo Plata shoots towards the roof of the net and Sánchez gets a fingertip to turn the effort over the crossbar.

Benfica vs Auckland is.......back underway!!!

After nearly two hours, the game resumes with Benfica 1-0 up.

CLOSE CHELSEA!

Léo Pereira beats Liam Delap to a long ball towards the Flamengo box and the defender pokes over his own goalkeeper and out for a corner. That was very close to an own goal.

BIG CHANCE FLAMENGO!

Wow, two chances for Flamengo. Gerson's deflected shot looks like its bouncing wide before Gonzalo Plata leaps in to make contact and puts the ball into the side-netting. That was a let-off for Chelsea.

Marc Cucurella is inches away from connecting with Reece James' free-kick but the Spanish defender mis-times his header and the ball sails across the Flamengo goalmouth.

SECOND HALF BEGINS

Kick off for the second half between Flamengo and Chelsea. The Blues are 1-0 up in this clash and will reach the knockouts with a win.

An update on Benfica vs Auckland....we're still waiting for the game to continue.

HALF TIME: Flamengo 0-1 Chelsea

A very even first half, but Pedro Neto's well-taken early goal gives the Blues a narrow advantage at the break.

Corner Flamengo. This will probably be the last chance of the half for the Brazilians to get back on level terms.

Check over, no penalty.

But....VAR is checking this one.

CHELSEA PENALTY APPEAL

Enzo Fernández goes down under Gerson's challenge inside the area and the referee isn't interested in the appeals.

OFF THE LINE!

Oooh, Flamengo almost level through Arrascaeta's header but Levi Colwill is well placed the clear off the line.

Chelsea have a chance to whip the ball into the box from a free-kick but Cole Palmer's delivery is easily cleared.

The game has gone a bit flat since the short cooling break. Chelsea seem content to allow Flamengo to control possession; the Blues are potentially seeking another pounce on the counter.

And we're back to it after that short refreshment break.

We have a drinks break here after 30 minutes. Pretty even so far but Chelsea will feel a tad more comfortable with a second goal.

Malo Gusto lets fly from a long way out and the attempt is watched all the way by Rossi.

Flamengo aren't sitting back here and are popping the ball around nicely around Chelsea's penalty area. The Brazilian side keep searching for an opening.

GOAL CHELSEA!

It's two in two for Pedro Neto, who collects a loose ball 40 yards from goal, drives into the box and curls a composed finish past Rossi.

Flamengo break forward and break-neck speed and Arrascaeta hits a cross-come shot at Sánchez.

CHANCE DELAP

The debutant races into the Flamengo box and shoots from a tight angle, forcing Agustín Rossi into a fingertip save.

Flamengo make a bright start as Arrascaeta fires over the bar from 20 yards and Ayrton Lucas smashes a rising drive straight at Robert Sánchez.

KICK OFF

Chelsea and Flamengo get started in the second game of the evening.

Still waiting...

The weather is yet to ease up in Orlando so the second half between Benfica and Auckland City is still under a weather delay.

In the meantime, Chelsea's meeting with Flamengo is 10 minutes away!

A weather delay in Orlando...

The second half is yet to kick off due to weather conditions. Fans have been asked to take shelter inside due to a storm at the Inter & Co Stadium.

HALF TIME: Benfica 1-0 Auckland

It took until added time in the first half, but Benfica lead against Auckland City.

A resilient defensive display from the New Zealand side is undone late on. A huge second half coming up.

PENALTY!

Auckland can't quite get to half time and concede a penalty. Ángel Di María steps up and makes no mistake from the spot! They lead at last.

Benfica 1-0 Auckland

WOW!

Auckland's Nathan Garrow is quite literally having the half of his life against Benfica!

Multiple saves in quick succession to keep the scoreline at 0-0. The Portuguese side still are yet to find a breakthrough and that's largely down to the performance of the 20-year-old stopper!

Benfica 0-0 Auckland

Here's how Flamengo line up, with Jorginho set to take on his former club!

Some team news from the other game as Chelsea confirm their lineup to face Flamengo!

CHANCE!

Benfica think they've taken the lead before half time through Fredrik Aursnes. However, the goal is immediately chalked off for an earlier foul on the Auckland goalkeeper by Vangelis Pavlidis.

Benfica 0-0 Auckland

Benfica can't find the back of the net!

Another chance goes begging for the Portuguese side! This time Vangelis Pavlidis latches onto a ball into the box but the forward cannot find the target.

Benfica 0-0 Auckland

WIDE!

A sweeping cross from Ángel Di María is struck narrowly wide by Kerem Aktürkoğlu. Benfica's best chance so far!

Benfica 0-0 Auckland

Nicolás Otamendi has a go with an acrobatic effort from a Benfica corner. It's comfortably held by the goalkeeper.

Benfica 0-0 Auckland
