FC Barcelona will begin the second season of the Hansi Flick era on 13 July, almost exactly one month from now. As is standard, the squad will report for medical tests and assessments on the first day, which falls on a Sunday this year.
Training will begin on Monday 14 July at the Ciutat Esportiva in Sant Joan Despi. After ten days of preparation in Barcelona, the team will travel to Japan for a 12-day tour across Asia, during which they will play three friendly matches.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona’s Asian tour opens on 27 July against Vissel Kobe at the Noevir Stadium in Kobe, in celebration of the Japanese club’s 30th anniversary.
The La Liga champions will then move on to South Korea for two more friendlies: one against FC Seoul on Thursday 31 July at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, and another against Daegu FC on Monday 4 August at the Daegu Stadium.

Notably, a day before the Daegu match, the same venue will host a Premier League showdown between Tottenham and Newcastle.
Following the 4 August fixture, which concludes a tour expected to bring in around €10 million for the club, Barcelona will return to the Catalan capital.
After a rest day on 5 August, the team is scheduled to play one more friendly before their official presentation to fans at the Spotify Camp Nou in the Joan Gamper Trophy match, set for 10 August, likely against Como.
Barcelona will play that additional friendly in Casablanca, Morocco. Although the initial idea was to play it before the Asia tour, the club, in agreement with the sporting department and Hansi Flick, has rescheduled it for 7 August.
This timing allows for more preparation in Barcelona before flying to Japan and ensures the team gets valuable match minutes ahead of the season opener.
