Barcelona youngster names teammate as his football idol | OneFootball

Barcelona starlet Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernández has admitted that a current member of Hansi Flick’s squad represents his footballing ‘idol’.

The name of youngster Dro has of course all of a sudden emerged as a prominent one in the headlines surrounding Barcelona on Sunday.

This comes after the 17-year-old marked his senior debut for the Blaugrana with a wonderful goal.

En route to a 3-1 pre-season victory over Vissel Kobe in Japan, Dro was introduced off the bench during the 2nd-half.

And it didn’t take at all long for the attacking midfielder/winger to make his mark, rounding out the scoring in the clash courtesy of a crisp volleyed effort.

Following the full-time whistle in Kobe, Dro, in turn, was pulled in for an exchange with the media presence in attendance at the fixture.

And during as much, one particular response provided by the Spaniard turned heads.

This came after he was asked to name his football idol, to which Dro showed little hesitation in responding with:

”Pedri.”
