The current priority at FC Barcelona is to ensure that players are registered timely. After all, the Catalan side needs the full squad to be ready and available before the official season starts. Unfortunately, a recent update claims that these registrations might have to wait.

According to the latest update provided by SPORT, Barcelona will have to wait until next week to fully conclude this ongoing issue. The reason behind that delay is that Crowe is still yet to finalise the audit report that is being worked on.

Currently, certain exceptions are reportedly being discussed but the club remains confident. With the club being certain that Crowe will validate the  VIP seats operation, there should then be no issues with registering players and returning to the 1:1 rule as well.

Five players remain currently unregistered, and those are Joan Garcia, Marcus Rashford, Wojciech Szczesny, Gerard Martin, and Roony Bardghji. Fortunately, the case of Bardghji is not as urgent since the club could register him as a Barça Atletic player if needed.

Beyond this operation, however, other financial levers were also discussed in a recent report that highlighted how they would help with player registrations. As for Marc-Andre Ter Stegen’s unwillingness to help the club, that fiasco is something that both parties are realistically being quite childish and immature about.
