The intensity in the FC Barcelona training sessions is exactly what continues to drive this team forward. After all, every player is competing to secure their place in the squad. That said, there is still room for some playful banter.
During a previous training session, Barça midfielder Gavi and his assigned team in training managed to beat Ronald Araujo and his teammates. Following the victory, Gavi took to Instagram to post a playful message targeting the losing team:
“I love beating Ronald Araujo, Frenkie de Jong, Alejandro Balde… but especially Pedri and Eric.”
However, as highlighted by Mundo Deportivo, Araujo got his revenge on Gavi in the team’s latest training session. With the Uruguayan’s team coming out on top, the Barcelona vice-captain did not hesitate to poke a little fun as well with the caption:
“Lovely training session accompanied by my son, Gavi.”

That caption was accompanied by a few pictures of Araujo holding up photoshopped miniature pictures of Gavi in his arms. A rather brutal comeback, and one that the competitive young midfielder will surely want revenge on as well.
Interestingly, Lamine Yamal was on the winning team on both occasions. Barça’s young number ‘10’ continues to dominate in training and matches, and there is a lot of excitement to see how well he performs in the upcoming season as well.
