Barcelona’s teenage sensation, Lamine Yamal, is set to mark a major milestone in his young but already astonishing career.
At just 17 years old, Yamal is poised to make his 100th appearance for the club in their upcoming clash against Inter.
This landmark moment comes on the heels of a spectacular showing in the Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid, where he delivered two assists to guide Barça to a major silverware.
Despite his age, Yamal’s journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. Since making his debut under Xavi, the winger has grown into an indispensable figure for the Catalan giants.
It was during the 2023/24 season that he truly cemented his place in the starting eleven, and he has not looked back since. In just 99 games, Yamal has amassed 21 goals and 33 assists, contributing to 71 wins, 13 draws, and only 15 defeats.

Yamal has also carved his name into the record books. He is the youngest La Liga champion in Barcelona’s history (aged 15 years and 305 days), the youngest La Liga goalscorer for the club, and the youngest ever winner of the European Championship.
It is a list of achievements that most professionals would envy at the end of their careers, and yet, Yamal has reached them before turning 18.
His trophy cabinet already boasts a La Liga title, a Copa del Rey, and a Spanish Super Cup and with Barcelona still firmly in the hunt for more glory this season, Yamal could realistically add another La Liga title and potentially a Champions League.
As he prepares for his 100th appearance, it is clear that Yamal is not just a prodigy anymore. He is a cornerstone of Barcelona’s present and future.
