Guille Fernandez was one of the young talents that FC Barcelona manager Hansi Flick took along with the first-team squad for the pre-season tour of Asia.

However, the 17-year-old midfielder did not see much action on the field, featuring for around 15 minutes in the second pre-season friendly against FC Seoul.

As we edge closer to the start of the season, Mundo Deportivo now reports that Guille Fernandez is set to meet with his agent, Jorge Mendes, to make a decision on his future.

Given the depth of midfield options under Hansi Flick, regular first-team minutes seem unlikely for the teenage La Masia gem.

As such, Guille must now decide whether to remain at Barça Atletic in the RFEF Segunda Division or accept one of several offers he has received.

The report suggests that Borussia Dortmund are highly interested in signing him. Clubs from France and Portugal have also shown interest.

All pathways are open: permanent transfer or loan move is possible, as Fernandez is under contract until 2027.

Guille is likely to be part of the Barça Juvenil A side that will play in the U‑20 Intercontinental Cup against Flamengo at the Maracana Stadium on 23 August, following their UEFA Youth League triumph last season.
