Earlier in the month, tension between Barcelona and La Liga boiled once again after the latter decided to come out with a public statement, which mentioned the financial details of Barcelona’s supposed sale of the VIP tickets – something that wasn’t made public by the club.
Barcelona filed a strong statement against La Liga, accusing the organisation of breach of trust and confidence, having made confidential information public.
Despite coming up with a strong statement against La Liga, though, Barcelona are yet to file any complaint against La Liga regarding their early April statement, reports Mundo Deportivo.
This is quite surprising considering the fact that many had expected Barcelona to go through with an official complaint to the CSD regarding La Liga’s actions.
Once it was looked up by CSD, the matter would have then been taken to TAD for a final verdict. If found guilty of breach of confidence, La Liga president Javier Tebas would have been in big trouble.

However, none of that has happened yet because Barcelona have yet to launch any complaint against La Liga’s statement.
This could stem from the fact that La Liga were quick to issue a rebuttal to Barcelona’s statement, arguing that the information that was shared was already well covered by the media.
La Liga even went on to delete the statement regarding the club’s deal for the VIP tickets, though it did not apologise to Barcelona.
The Catalans, though, have been silent about the matter since and look unlikely to take any action anytime soon.
However, the tension between the two parties is likely to continue, especially as we near the dawn of yet another summer transfer window.
