Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski undergoes medical tests: The results | OneFootball

A fresh update on the wellbeing of Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski has come to the fore on Wednesday evening.

This comes after the veteran striker set alarm bells sounding in Catalunya’s capital late last night.

After finding himself on the receiving end of a heavy challenge during Poland’s Nations League meeting with Croatia, the 36-year-old was spotted limping heavily on his way out of the stadium:

Fears surrounding a potential injury for Lewandowski, in turn, quickly spread.

Upon his return to Barcelona on Wednesday, the Pole was therefore subjected to a series of medical tests and scans.

And as much, it has since been revealed, have given rise to altogether positive results, Lewandowski having suffered little more than a bone bruise.

As confirmed by Blaugrana insider Javier Miguel of Diario AS:

‘Lewandowski: Tests rule out injury. He only has a severe bruise on his right tibia. OK for Sevilla.’
