Barcelona star reveals conversations with Neymar over Camp Nou return | OneFootball

Barcelona star Raphinha has this week opened up on conversations between he and compatriot Neymar Jr, over a potential return to Catalunya’s capital.

Wide-man Neymar of course brought a close to his iconic Barcelona stint back in 2017, when he opted to depart in a world-record transfer to French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain.

Almost every summer since, though, the Brazilian has been linked with a move back to the Blaugrana.

To date, no such transfer has been forthcoming, for a variety of reasons.

As alluded to above, though, as much has not stopped one current member of the attacking ranks in Hansi Flick’s squad from continuing to talk up a potential reunion with Neymar himself.

In quotes relaid by Diario Sport this week, Raphinha explained:

“There was a lot of talk about Neymar’s return to Barça. I told him: ‘Come on, you know the club loves you, the fans love you and everyone would love to have you back.’ But in the end, it didn’t depend on me or him.”
