Barcelona star Ferran Torres opted against celebrating after finding the net in the club’s latest outing on Sunday night.
Barcelona are of course currently locked in action.
Fresh off a morale-boosting comeback victory over Benfica in the Champions League in midweek, the Blaugrana have turned attentions back towards matters in La Liga.
In the knowledge that nothing but a three-point haul will suffice after seeing Real Madrid climb a full ten points clear of them atop the Spanish top-flight on Saturday, Hansi Flick’s troops have welcomed Valencia to Catalunya’s capital.
And, as things stand during the first-half of action, all three points is precisely what Barca find themselves headed towards.
Owing to an explosive opening to proceedings, Barcelona currently lead by three goals to nil.
Amongst the goalscorers, meanwhile, was the aforementioned Ferran Torres, who made it 2-0 courtesy of a fine first-time finish from Alejandro Balde’s delivery from the left.
As his teammates wheeled away in celebration, however, Ferran raised his hands in apologetic fashion.
This comes with the Spanish international maintaining a close bond with Valencia, his boyhood club, and the city in which he was born.
